Deep text paraphrasing online

TextGears provides a very convenient paraphrasing tool. Save the link so you don't lose it:

How to use it?

Automatic paraphrasing (or rewriting) allows you to solve 2 tasks very effectively:

  1. Quickly fix text in the selected language so that it looks like it was written by a native speaker.
  2. Highly increase text uniqueness to get rid of plagiarism.

Each time you click on the button, the system tries to offer a new version of the text. For some languages, a creativity selection is available. It is desirable to read the resulting text and, if necessary, correct it. We are constantly working on improving our neural networks, but some phrases are better to fix manually.

Paraphrasing (or rewriting) is rebuilding the text in such a way that the meaning is preserved, but the text becomes more unique. All rewriters try to change their approach, style, pick up similar words in order to rewrite a text. Surely you have done this at least once in your life. For example, when writing a term paper at a university, or a report for a school presentation, presenting a new product, describing a product for a sales platform. It's true? We all rewrote or paraphrase something.

Even the famous retelling “in your own words” can be attributed here. Perhaps this will be the most accurate description of the rewrite.

By rewriting the text, you save time, because rephrasing will come to the rescue just when there is a lot of material, and time is running out. But this does not mean that you should not force your brain to generate your own ideas and bring them to life. We are talking about force majeure situations. Another plus of paraphrasing is saving money. Consider the example of a course paper: it is much easier to collect information and rewrite it yourself than to pay a person to write a text. Moreover, you will still pay for paraphrasing, and not for a completely original text (this is much more expensive and almost never exists in practice).

Types of paraphrasing: superficial and deep

Superficial rewriting is a banal replacement of several words in a sentence with synonyms. You've probably done this before, right? No need to bother with changing the structure of the sentence, their order in the paragraph, and so on. Just a slightly modified text with different words.

Unlike superficial rewriting, deep paraphrasing is much more difficult. Here you need to read and understand what you are going to rephrase, and then describe it yourself, not just replacing words with synonyms, but completely modifying the paragraph.

In both cases, the main task is to preserve the original meaning. But it should be borne in mind that not all words can be replaced by any synonyms. At a minimum, it is necessary to observe the style of the entire text and not insert archaisms where they do not belong at all.

Automatic and human-made

There's nothing like human-made work. Usually, many people think so exactly until they see a picture perfectly drawn by a computer. But сan it really be called artificial intellegence, or still just a program put into an iron box?

Today, a neural network is able to complete a sentence for you, create a content plan, or even write an exciting movie plot. Artificial intelligence develops, learns, and every day is used in more and more areas.
